Pavemac, based in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire, has been a dealer of Antec and Ammann pavers since 200 but wanted to be also able to offer a larger screed width.
The Sumitomo HA60W/C has a variable triple screed system that extends automatically from 2.3 metres up to 6.0 metres width, removing the need for bolt-on extension boxes.
One of Pavemac’s first customers for a Sumitomo HA60W paver was Sussex-based Drivepoint Construction, which has been using it on the Bexhill-on-Sea to Hastings link road.
آ “The six-metre screed width has made a huge difference to the time taken to lay the tarmac, with the quality of the finish being of a higher standard than I have been used to,†said Drivepoint managing director Les Blaker.
