The SMC TL-90 LED lighting tower, which Morris claims is the first of its kind in the UK, has five 240W LED lamps powered by a Kubota water-cooled diesel engine which, apparently, is very quiet.
Morris says that a changeover switch allows the unit to run from mains power if required. It also says that up to three towers can be run from just one engine and still work for up to 400 hours before refuelling.
The SMC TL-90 is the most economical of its kind on the market, says the manufacturer, which adds that the unit consumes 50% less fuel than a standard lighting tower. Morris is also showing a range of pumps, the highlight being the Hilta Sprite 2鈥� petrol diaphragm general purpose pump.
This unit has a high solids handling capability and features a delivery head suitable for polluted water. It is Morris鈥� proud boast that the British-made Hilta range is built using components sourced entirely within a 50-mile radius of the company鈥檚 Lincolnshire headquarters.
