Our independent multi-disciplinary consultancy client specialises in town planning, urban design, architecture, landscape and the historic environment/built heritage. With an excellent portfolio of work and strong growth, they seek to add further experience and quality to their Built Heritage team
On their behalf we are seeking experienced Built Heritage Consultants at Principal, Associate Director or Technical Director for their York and London offices.
Cutting to the chase, what do we look for?
• IHBC membership
• MCIfA (desirable)
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial practice
Experience of some or most;
• Heritage Statements
• Environmental Statement Chapters
• the EIA process
• the DCO process (desirable)
• Listed Building Consent applications
• Written representations
• Inquiry / Hearing experience (desirable)
• Management and mentoring of junior staff
• Producing fee proposals
• Business development
• Liaising with local authorities/stakeholders
