The 拢9.5 million project, led by Chesterfield Borough Council, is on the Queen鈥檚 Park Annexe site, a disused athletics track near to the existing sports centre. It is scheduled for completion in early 2016.
Members of the Morgan Sindall team joined representatives from the centre, the Council, the project team and invited guests for a ground-breaking ceremony.
