ISG will build an 85,000 sq ft head office building for TPP on a sloping site, which incorporates two levels of under croft car parking facilities. The four-storey, steel frame structure has been designed by Bowman Riley Architects with a frontal, road-side elevation of traditional Yorkshire stone with a pitched tiled roof. The rear fa莽ade has a more contemporary design with curtain walling and rain screen cladding panels.
TPP will relocate its operations to the new purpose-built accommodation from its existing offices a few hundred yards down the road.
To minimise columns across the four main floor plates, ISG will install a series of delta beams that span up to 17m within the main office.
Targeting a BREEAM very good environmental performance rating, the office is mostly naturally ventilated, via roof-mounted wind catchers. It will have brise soleil shading panels to regulate solar gain.
Completion is scheduled for spring 2015.
