ISG Construction has been awarded a آ£5.45m contract to design and construct a fire service training facility in Bowburn, County Durham. The project includes a working at height training rig and training tower as well as a 1400m2 corporate training centre with classrooms, conference facilities and administration offices.
Bowmer & Kirkland has been selected for a آ£3.7m contract to build a new community fire station in Sniperley, Durham, to replace the ageing fire station at Framwellgate Moor.
Both projects are expected to take 12 months to complete.
