James Howles joins BakerHicks from SNC-Lavalin (formerly Interfleet), where he was director for rail infrastructure. He has been in the rail industry since joining Amec-Spie (now Colas Rail) in 2003. He subsequently worked for consulting engineers White Young Green and Aecom on rail projects.
He said of his new job: “My recent experience in electrification and rail systems complements BakerHicks’ proven capability in stations. With continued investment in the sector and major schemes such as HS2 and further electrification works planned for the coming years, it’s an exciting future for rail at BakerHicks.â€

Morgan Sindall Professional Services Ltd was renamed BakerHicks on 1st February 2017 with minimal fanfare.
