Deeley Construction is building 73 apartments for rent on the site of the former police station on Watnall Road in Hucknall.

The 拢15.9m town centre scheme is being constructed on behalf of affordable extra care housing provider Preferred Homes Ltd.

The affordable extra care housing scheme will regenerate the site of Hucknall鈥檚 derelict former police station, which has been demolished to make way for the new development.

Deeley is putting up a three-storey and a four-storey building, with a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

Communal space will include a lounge, dining room, plant room, multi-purpose room and a bistro.

Watnall Road is the second development to be built by Deeley for Preferred Homes.
